This one really is random.

What is the most common japanese RWD car in your area?

Kinja'd!!!

The thought occured to me while waiting for the bus earlier today. Because come to think of it, I have only ever seen three japanese rear wheel drive cars in my town and its periphery. One is a mint, bone stock, purple, manual S14 200SX that I encounter occasionally. The other one was a very blue AE86 Convertible I saw once. The rest are HiAce vans. Anyways, could be quite interesting to see what your local JDM dorifto clubs preferred ride is.

Lexus GS obviously. Other than than, my coworker has a TuRD yellow FR-S, and I see a pair of manual IS300s every day. On a side note, I have seen more RSXs and Integras in this town than anywhere else I have ever been. Honda/Acura seem to be very popular with my Hispanic neighbors.

350Zs are starting to crop up more and more at drift events.

240SX were all beat to shit, and are now dead.

a few lexuses (lexii?) IS here and there.

S2K are also surprisingly popular, as are Toyobarus.

There are a lot of FWD econoboxes in my area, and I mean a lot. So much that I’d have to say the S2000 is the most common.

I live in the wondrous New England region so RWD is mostly for weekend cars to say the least. But Miatas are the most popular up here it seems. Second would definitely be S13’s

probably the Lexus IS250, but possibly the G35. if the upper middle class soccer moms ever found out they weren’t FWD, they’d probably trade them in for Acuras.

Many Lexus. And Civics with a some Accords where I live. None of those drivers I see even know what “drifting” is. I don’t need to ask them either.
